The Canadian Library Association’s Intellectual Freedom Advisory Committee has released the results of its ninth annual survey of challenges to library resources and policies in Canada for 2014.

CLA 2016 will be a national policy summit and convention as opposed to a general conference and it will be called the 2016 Canadian Library Association Forum.

The purpose of the Guidelines for the Education of Library Technicians is to promote excellence in the training and education of library technicians and to serve as a national standard for both educational institutions in Canada and employers who need to determine the capabilities of program graduates.
