True North Science Boot Camp – registration now open!

The 2018 True North Science Boot Camp for Librarians will be held in Montréal, Québec, Canada from May 23rd through May 25th, 2018, and is jointly organised by Concordia University and McGill University. This year’s theme is smart cities and artificial intelligence.
Highlights include:
- Sessions on artificial intelligence, smart cities, cryptocurrencies, an HIV self-testing app and urban noise management;
- New for 2018, short presentations by 6 librarians on topics relevant to science librarianship;
- An exciting social program, including a banquet, a 5 à 7 cocktail reception, and an optional ghost tour of Old Montréal;
- Lunches and refreshments;
- Very low registration fees*: CDN $221.50 with the ghost tour or CDN $200 without the tour.
Registration is now live and is capped at 50 participants. Register early to save your spot! Registration closes Friday, April 20, 2018.
