Call For Proposals: Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL) 2026 Annual Conference

Call For Proposals: Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL) 2026 Annual Conference

November 11, 2025

CALL/ACBD currently has approximately 400 members representing a wide variety of law library and legal information interests across Canada. It provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among members, fosters cooperation among Canadian law libraries, and plays an active role in promoting access to legal information for all Canadians. Our 2026 annual conference is taking place May 24 to 27, at the Delta Hotels Beausejour in Moncton, New Brunswick.

This year’s conference theme is Currents of Resilience: Navigating Change. The theme draws inspiration from the local topography—specifically, the Petitcodiac River—and reflects the many challenges and opportunities faced by professionals in the legal information field. The river’s sharp bend as it flows into Moncton symbolizes change. Sometimes, we can anticipate what lies ahead—such as budget cuts or space reductions. Other times, we are caught off guard by powerful currents, such as the pandemic. Despite these challenges, legal information professionals have shown remarkable resilience and adaptability. The 2026 Conference aims to celebrate this spirit, encouraging creativity, innovation, and confidence across our community.

We are looking for submissions for the following formats:

  • 45-minute presentation
  • Poster Presentation
  • 7-Minute Lightning Talk

Please complete the Call for Proposals application form here and send it to conference@callacbd.ca.

The deadline for proposals is December 13, 2025.
