Chris Allison will provide an overview of the importance of digital collaboration in today’s rapidly changing environment with a focus on information management professionals and key trends that are impacting IM.
About the Speaker
Christopher Allison – Chris has occupied a broad range of posts in the Government of Canada over the past 14 years. Starting in immigration enforcement and policing as an RCMP officer, Chris then moved to operational management and strategic policy with the CBSA to managing national security policy and coordinating the managers’ network at Public Safety Canada. Since then, he’s managed traveler transformation initiatives in the CBSA, contributed to the development of the CBSA’s vision for future air traveler processing and is currently seconded to Treasury Board Secretariat as manager of the GC2.0 Tools. He has reverse mentored three Deputy Ministers on the DM Committee on Policy Innovation.
As per his Twitter bio, Chris is focused on GoC leadership, community, culture, creativity and innovation. He is a geek, gamer, Python developer and storyteller.
