April 13, 2016
You are invited to participate in a research study that evaluates the factors that have an influence on the research productivity of Canadian academic librarians. The research is being conducted by Selinda Berg (University of Windsor), Denise Koufogiannakis (University of Alberta), and Kristin Hoffmann (University of Western Ontario).
You are invited to participate in this research independent of whether or not you are currently engaging in research activities. If you volunteer to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey accessible from:
http://fluidsurveys.uwindsor.ca/s/librarianresearchfactors/
The questionnaire includes questions related to:

This questionnaire contains mainly close-ended questions and one open-ended question, and it is expected to take less than 20 minutes. The study seeks participation from Canadian academic librarians at CRKN member institutions who do and who do not actively participate in research.
This research is being conducted by researchers at the University of Windsor, University of Alberta and the University of Western Ontario, and has received clearance from the University of Windsor Research Ethics Board and the University Alberta Research Ethics Board. A copy of the Letter of Information about the research study is attached. Please print and read the Letter of Information.
