Join the Archives Association of BC and Yukon Council of Archives for our 2025 virtual conference: “Archival Innovations: Archives in the 21st Century”, October 7-9, 2025. Our work is no longer simply arrangement and description and some scattered reference requests – we are encountering media preservation and access demands, challenges of the digital realm, decolonization of our holdings, environmental stresses, and the need for ongoing advocacy. Archival practitioners have risen to these challenges in unique and innovative ways – using experience, technology, tools, and partnerships to leverage a new dynamic path forward.
