Diversity is a hot topic these days and for libraries it is important that we practice many different kinds of Diversity – whether it is cultural diversity – functional diversity for special needs clients – or providing diversity in our library collections! Join the Alberta Association of Library Technicians for our annual conference being held in Calgary, AB at SAIT Polytechnic on May 12-15, 2016. The theme this year is DIVERSITY!

Learn about serving clients with diverse physical needs in our session entitled Service Excellence: Serving Persons with Disabilities or attend Strengthening Team Dynamics by Embracing Diversity and Inclusion and find insight into your coworkers. We are also offering sessions on Service Excellence: Serving the LGBTQ Community and Challenge Stigma: Supporting Colleagues with Limitations plus many more!
