The theme of this year’s virtual conference is Community, Connecting, Caring / Communauté, Connectivité, Compassion.

Community and connection are for everyone!

Social connection has been limited for the past few years, but now we are able to connect, share, and create a community in many spaces. New technologies and new ways of doing things provide us an opportunity to connect as a community virtually, professionally and personally at a time when connection is more difficult than ever before. Creating communities, connecting people with services and resources, and caring for our communities is something that library staff do on a daily basis in public, academic, corporate and special libraries.

This year, we aim to highlight and celebrate ways in which we have built communities, maintained connections, and helped one another through challenges and changes. We are seeking proposals that showcase initiatives in Library & Information Studies (or related fields) that deal with programming, staffing, collections, spaces, policy and/or services that support any of the three themes of Community, Connecting, and Caring.
