Library and Archives Canada (LAC) in partnership with the Centre de recherche en civilisation canadienne-française (CRCCF) at the University of Ottawa and the Association des bibliothèques de l’Ontario-Franco (ABO-Franco), with the active support of archival and library networks in official language minority communities (OLMCs), are pleased to invite you to the online Opening Session of the National Conference Archives and Libraries in Official Language Minority Communities  Issues and Future.

Opening Session

Don’t miss this fascinating conversation between France Daigle, author and winner of the Governor General’s Literary Award, and Lucie Hotte, Director of the Centre de recherche en civilisation canadienne-française (CRCCF). They will discuss the role archives and libraries play in this internationally renowned Acadian author’s creative writing. At various points in the discussion, excerpts from her works will be read aloud by LAC employees.

“From 1953 to Pour sûr, the archives, volumes and libraries as sources of inspiration”
