Theme: Forecast Unclear: Libraries Carry On

The annual BC Library Conference creates a space for discussion and debate, conversation and connecting with colleagues. It provides opportunities to learn, consider, and reflect on the philosophy, work, and services of libraries. We want the outcome of every conference to be stronger institutions and stronger individuals.

This year’s conference theme is Forecast Unclear: Libraries Carry On.

Libraries are navigating significant change, from new technologies and funding challenges to shifting community needs and expectations. While the path ahead may sometimes feel uncertain, libraries have a long history of adapting, evolving, and continuing to serve their communities.
