Theme: Libraries in Motion – Turning Innovation into Impact

Libraries are navigating a period of rapid change. AI is reshaping how information is created, searched, and discovered, and new digital tools are changing staff workflows and patron expectations.

BiblioCon ’26  will move beyond the idea of innovation itself and show what it makes possible: stronger services, more effective workflows, better digital experiences, deeper community engagement, and measurable outcomes for patrons.

Sessions will center on practical, library-led stories: what libraries tried, what changed, what worked, what didn’t, and what libraries can learn from it.

Marking 20 years of BiblioCommons, it’s a chance to look at how far the online library experience has come, and where libraries are taking it next.
