Join Citizens Academy for a generative and provocative public conversation on the potential of a central library as a multi-use community hub and a meaningful public place for shared citymaking. We will learn from Judy Hare, former CEO of the Halifax Central Library, how participatory processes with citizens, throughout each stage of development, informed the library design and fuelled community ownership and pride. No doubt, she will share lessons learned as well.

We want to hear from Ottawans: what burning questions remain for you as we move through the central library process?
