GLAM institutions from the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec and the Smithsonian Institute, to numerous national libraries are becoming increasing involved in the Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia, Wikidata, and the Wikimedia Commons.

GLAM professionals and interested community members are invited to a one-day summit to hear a keynote talk by Effie Kapsalis, Digital at the Smithsonian Institute as well as other speakers such as Amy Furness, Art Gallery of Ontario; Benoit Rochon, Wikimedia Canada; John Dupuis, York University and Dawn Bazely, York University on the ways GLAM institutions are successfully engaging with Wikimedia projects. We will also engage in workshop discussions of strategies and opportunities.
