To help further facilitate dialogue within the government information community, the Carleton Library and uOttawa Library are organizing an informal community gathering to take place on Wednesday, October 25th from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at the Carleton Library.

This event will feature short presentations and project updates related to government information in Canada. Please note that ProQuest will be hosting an optional lunch at 12:00. RSVP information for both the event and the lunch will be collected with registration. The program for this informal pre-conference will be available soon.

This is an informal event and is an opportunity for those interested in government information to network and share updates and ideas in advance of the formal Government Information Day conference taking place on October 26th at Library and Archives Canada.

Pour faciliter le dialogue dans la communauté de l’information gouvernementale, la Bibliothèque de l’Université Carleton et la Bibliothèque de l’Université d’Ottawa organisent une session informelle qui aura lieu le mercredi 25 octobre 2017 de 13h00 à 17h00 à la Bibliothèque de l’Université Carleton.

La session d’une demi-journée comportera des présentations brèves ainsi que des mises à jour sur une variété de projets. Veuillez noter que ProQuest offrira un repas léger à 12h. Le programme pour cette session informelle sera disponible très bientôt.

Il s’agit d’un événement informel et d’une opportunité pour ceux qui s’intéressent à l’information gouvernementale de ressauter et de partager des nouvelles et des idées avant la conférence formelle de la Journée de l’information gouvernementale qui aura lieu le 26 octobre à la Bibliothèque et Archives Canada.
