The 2017 Conference will be held at Elk Ridge Resort near Waskesiu, SK and the Prince Albert National Park to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Saskatchewan Library Association, as well as the 50th anniversary of the Mary Donaldson Memorial Lecture and the 150th anniversary of Canada.

The theme this year, Saskatchewan Library Association: Remembrance & Renewal, will provide an opportunity for libraries and library workers to revive memories from the past and also provide insight into current and future trends for libraries and input into a vision for the future for SLA. We continue to value diversity and are also looking for presentations that focus on issues of inclusivity and diversity. The conference host, Pahkisimon Nuyeʔáh Library System (PNLS), will showcase their northern environment.
