Each year since 2010, Yellowhead Regional Library (YRL) has held an annual conference with the suffix “The Power of Libraries.” Because we believe that libraries do have power; to be champions of information and learning, to foster creativity and innovation, and to be centres of a community that are available and welcoming.

​The annual YRL conference is about coming together to share our stories and experiences. We build and strengthen the networks between library staff, managers, board members and trustees, school library staff and everyone who contributes to the power of libraries.
