Puzzle 5: Brockville Public Library

The Brockville Public Library celebrates its 125th birthday in 2020.

It was established in May 1895, an out-growth of the collections and services developed by the Brockville Mechanic’s Institute.

A grant from Andrew Carnegie in 1902 resulted in the opening of the library building in 1904. The building underwent two expansions and renovations in 1971 and 1996.
