CARL Resources on Open Education

The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) Open Education Working Group last week highlighted some new resources available to the library and higher education communities, including:

• FAQ on Open Education,
• Guidance for instructors on Getting Started with OER, and
• an Environmental Scan of Open Education Service and Support in Canada

Other resources available from CARL include:

• The Time Is Now for Open Educational Resources (2020)
• CARL Statement on Open Education (2019)
• Open Textbooks: Opportunities for Research Libraries (2014)

as well as slides and recordings from a series of webinars offered by the Working Group.
