Call for Proposals: 2020 Parkland Regional Library Conference

2020 PRL Conference: Coming Full Circle

You are invited to attend the 2020 PRL Conference on Monday, September 21. The conference will be held at the Lacombe Memorial Center, 5214 50 Ave, Lacombe, AB.

The PRL planning committee is currently seeking session proposals for one-hour presentations at the conference. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2020 and submissions will receive a response from the planning committee by March 31, 2020.

To submit your proposal, send the following information to the conference committee at Libraryservices@prl.ab.ca

Be sure to include the following information with your submission:

About you:

• Name
• Affiliation
• Position/title
• Contact information: including phone number and e-mail address
• Library System:

About your session:

• Session title
• Session description (no more than 100 words)
• Three session goals or objectives
• Session Format (single or double speaker, panel, hands-on, etc.)

Important Dates:

• Deadline for submissions: March 15, 2020
• Registration opens: June 15, 2020
• Early Registration deadline: August 1, 2020
• Regular registration deadline: September 7, 2020
