
CFP: TALL eXchange 2K16 Conference

Join the Toronto Association of Law Libraries (TALL) for a one-day conference on Thursday, October 13, 2016
The conference TALL eXchange 2K16 will be an opportunity for the law library community to learn from leading experts and each other at the conveniently located St. Andrew’s Club in downtown Toronto.
We are pleased to announce Professor Anthony Niblett as our Keynote speaker, who will be discussing artificial intelligence and its application to law. Professor Niblett is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at University of Toronto and is also the co-founder of Blue J Legal, a startup company which brings machine learning to tax law.
The program for the day will include an opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking. Sessions are currently being planned for managers, librarians, and technicians.
The TALL Community is inviting you to speak at TALL eXchange 2K16 by participating in one or both of the following formats:
Session:
- Develop and present a 40-50 minute session on topics relevant to (but by no means limited to) collection development, current awareness, instruction, leadership, and soft skills.
Lightning Talk:
- In 10 minutes or less, tell conference attendees about the interesting or unique initiatives you’ve been working on.
