OCUL Accessibility Information Toolkit for Libraries

July 17, 2015

A web-based version of the Toolkit is now available via the OCUL website: http://ocul.on.ca/accessibility/

The OCUL Accessibility Information Toolkit for Libraries, previously available in PDF format, is now fully online as a handy reference resource for all! Originally designed to provide accessibility resources and best practices to Ontario’s University libraries, it is now available to the general public in French and English to browse, search and consult as needed.

This toolkit, which has already received a very positive response, explores the areas of Public Services, Procurement and Administration, and is packed with useful resources including how-to guides, FAQs, sample policy wording, and important AODA deadlines.

This tool is the result of a partnership between University of Toronto Libraries and the Ontario Council of University Libraries with support from the Government of Ontario and is intended to support OCUL members as we all strive to foster an inclusive educational experience across Ontario.
