Call for Papers: International Journal of Information, Diversity & Inclusion

The International Journal of Information, Diversity & Inclusion seeks papers for its Winter/Spring 2023 regular issue. Papers that pass all stages of the review process will be immediately published on the journal’s Early Access feed so that authors are able to enjoy the immediate impact of their work in the field.
At this time, the journal is especially interested in research, conceptual papers, and reports from the field on the following topics:
- The information worlds of Indigenous communities
- Youth literacy practices in the Global South: Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America
- Interdisciplinary library services with other cultural institutions via community engagement
- Social justice in libraries, in cultural institutions, in community-based literacy organizations
- Data science and other technological innovations that impact local communities worldwide
The IJIDI publishes research articles and special section publications that include multidisciplinary perspectives on the intersection of equity, social justice, and information. The journal seeks to expand the discourse on how access to, interaction with, and the use of information by a range of populations can impact individuals, communities, and society. IJIDI is a quarterly, open access, online journal, indexed in SCOPUS, JSTOR, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ); the journal uses a double-blind peer-review process.
