2015 ARMA Toronto Salary Survey

November 12, 2015

The Records and Information Management Salary Survey, prepared by Andrew Zanella of the ARMA Toronto Chapter, presents survey information on the total annual compensation (including bonuses and other non-monetary benefits) received by records management professionals, including ARMA members, who are employed full-time or part-time in Canada.

The information is based on data collected from the online survey and reflects salaries for 2015. This is the first time ARMA has collected Canadian compensation data.

Here are a few interesting statistics from the survey…

  • 40% work in the public (government) sector
  • 96% work full-time
  • 62% have a post-graduate degree
  • 34% have 1-2 staff in the records management department
  • 47% have 11 years or more experience in the RIM field

Over 200 responses were received from across Canada with 70% from Ontario.

The 2015 Survey results are now available through a pdf report: 2015 ARMA Toronto Salary Survey.
