This case study is the third and final in an interactive virtual workshop series that offers participants the opportunity to support the wider library community. Navigate spacial and budgetary limitations, embrace growing community membership, and assist with design solutions! Georgian College Library has challenges that are bound to resonate with others. From reimagining its layout to fostering more harmonious multi-use spaces, they are eager to explore ideas to support its diverse student community. With your help, this library team aims to:
- clearly define zones for silent study, collaborative work, and hybrid learning;
- design strategies to subtly guide user behaviour, reducing noise conflicts in shared areas;
- create a more accessible Customer Service main desk.
Are you up to the challenge?
Date & Time: Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm ET
