Call for Presentations: ARMA NCR IM Days

August 1, 2016

ARMA NCR IM Days
November 14-15, 2016
The Shaw Centre

ARMA NCR is a professional association that engages openly to share transformational thinking and practical insights across the community that:

  • grow our skills and knowledge;
  • manage organizational risk; and
  • create useable solutions to real problems.

ARMA NCR Fall IM Days seeks to achieve these goals by bringing together members of the community, offering opportunities for learning, and celebrating our achievements.

In attending this event participants will gain access to industry leaders, share successes and challenges with other members of the community, and be inspired by innovative ideas. Come and see how IM professionals are leveraging their skills and networks to delivery true value for end-users and organizations alike. This is the place where the IM community continues to meet.

Program Streams and Related Topics

There are four streams to the event with many potential topics and sub-topics falling under each of the streams. When making a submission please identify the appropriate stream and explain how it relates to the stream.

  1. Information Governance: how to develop, implement, and maintain the foundational pieces required for a successful IM program.
  2. Communications, Learning, and Change Management: how to reach, engage, and maintain positive relationships with end-users and key strategic partners in order to maximize the value of IM programs and services.
  3. Operational Realities: using case studies to share IM challenges, IM success stories, and important lessons learned.
  4. Soft skills: helping participants explore and develop the key skills required to ensure the success of their IM programs (leadership, critical thinking, time management, writing, public speaking, etc.).

Proposals for session in any of these streams are welcome. Examples of topics of interest include: basic level instruction in any theme area; sessions on current, topical issues such as cloud computing and open government initiatives; and any other session related to one the four streams.
