Have you completed a successful project with partners in the GLAM Sector? Share your story!

January 21, 2019

In December 2016, representative from Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) across Canada came together in Ottawa at a Summit on the Value of the entire sector.

Organized by the Canadian Museums Association and Library and Archives Canada, the Summit recognized the challenges facing the sector due to changing social, economical and political priorities. The power of the conversation lead to the adoption of the Ottawa Declaration. This Declaration represents a commitment by the sector to find new ways of working together to increase the visibility and impact of memory institutions.

One of the pillars of the Declaration is “to increase collaboration between our institutions and our networks at the local and national levels to catalyze new partnerships that spark creativity and enhance engagement.”

We are kindly asking you to share up to four examples of successful projects undertaken in partnership with organizations inside or outside the GLAM sector. With this information we hope to extract best practices, lessons learned but also challenges, with a view to providing meaningful tools to help the sector increase the volume and success of these partnerships.

The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete. Please be prepared to answer all questions in one sitting. You will not be able to save the survey and return to it later.
