True North Science Boot Camp 2019 – registration now open!

The 2019 True North Science Boot Camp (TNSBC) for Librarians will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from May 29th through May 31st, 2019. The event is organised by the University of Ottawa and this year’s theme is makerspaces and community engagement in science and engineering.
Highlights include:
- An extensive program including librarian presentations as well as sessions on science education and communication, intellectual property and makerspace. Experiential learning in the construction, reconfiguration and combination of DNA and proteins will also be covered in a rich and diversified program.
- An exciting social program including the opening banquet, dine arounds, and an outdoor BBQ
- Lunches and refreshments;
- Very low registration fees*: $200.00 + 13% HST = $226.00 CDN
Registration is now live and is capped at 40 participants. Register early to save your spot! Registration closes Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
*Please note: Registration fees do not include accommodations. We have reserved a block of rooms at a reduced rate, at 90 University. More information on this and other accommodation options.
