True North Science Boot Camp 2018 – Save the date!

Mark your calendars! The 2018 True North Science Boot Camp for Librarians will be held in Montréal, Québec, Canada at a combination of venues on both Concordia University and McGill University campuses from May 23rd through May 25th, 2018.

The event’s themes will be smart cities and also artificial intelligence, which is a booming research field in Montréal. There will also be presentations by library colleagues showcasing their science librarian work.

TNSBC IV will include:

• Opportunities to network with your Science Librarian colleagues;
• Social activities, including a 5à7 cocktail reception and an optional ghost tour of Old Montréal;
• Private accommodations available, with special TNSBC pricing, in Concordia University’s Grey Nuns residence.

**New this year: We will be soliciting proposals from librarians to give brief (approximately 20 minute) presentations on topics pertinent to science librarianship**
