Emerging Library & Information Perspectives (ELIP) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal managed by students in the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program at Western University.

LAC will award up to $10,000 per funding cycle: $5,000 per selected student registered in full-time studies and $2,500 per selected student registered in part-time studies at Canadian colleges or universities for the 2021–2022 academic year, in a program that leads to a career in libraries or archives

The Kaleidoscope Program recruits MLIS students from historically underrepresented ethnic and racial groups into careers in research libraries and archives.

Students must be:
Enrolled in a MLIS or LIT program, Certificate Program, Undergraduate or Graduate degree who demonstrates a passion for the library sciences field.
In any year of study at a Canadian post-secondary.
Able to demonstrate financial need.
