As a result of the collaboration between Internet Archive Canada and the CGI-DPN, during 2023-2024 the data cap for CGI-DPN will be doubled its current capacity.

The goal of the survey is to provide for a more accurate picture of digital preservation activities in Canada and to understand the needs of different types and sizes of institutions.

The merger represents an integrated national strategy aimed at fostering an agile and sustainable research infrastructure for digital heritage content.
