CFLA Update: Kevin Brennan Joins As Senior Project Executive

June 24, 2016

An update from the Canadian Federation of Library Associations:

We are pleased to announce that Kevin Brennan has joined CFLA-FCAB as the Senior Project Executive. Kevin has extensive leadership experience with non profit organizations including strategic planning, governance, stakeholder relations and information technology. Kevin will be working with the CFLA-FCAB board over the next few weeks to establish a web and social media presence and we look forward to updating the Canadian Library Sector via national, provincial and territorial library associations/organizations. If your organization has an initiative that is within the scope of CFLA-FCAB we would love to hear from you. We have an intake form at: http://cla.ca/wp-content/uploads/CFLA-FCABIntakeForm-Fillable.pdf

CFLA-FCAB will ensure the CLA website remains in place to provide time to archive and move items, but will not be updating it.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Canadian Library Association for 70 years of service. We extend our deepest appreciation to remaining staff Agnieszka Arkuszewski, Office Manager, Linda Sawden-Harris, Bookkeeping Services, and to Valoree McKay, Executive Director. Valoree has worked tirelessly to steward the myriad of operational detail and logistics involved with winding down an organization and has worked diligently with CFLA-FCAB to ensure the continuation of initiatives, standards and policies important to Canada’s library sector. Thank you for your commitment.
