Canada’s New Plan on Open Government 2016-2018

June 17, 2016

The Open Government team at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat have posted a draft of Canada’s new plan on Open Government and are inviting Canadians to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement from June 16 to June 30.

As you know, this draft is part of an iterative cycle of input, discussion, and evolution based on guidelines set out by the Open Government Partnership. If you’d like to read about how we got to this point, and about the public consultations that informed the development of this draft, we invite you to read our recent blog about the process.

The draft plan sets direction for the next two years of Open Government in Canada, and we thank you for your participation and thoughtful input so far. We look forward to finalizing the plan, and even more so to delivering on it.

Thank you,

The Open Government team
