Information Without Borders Conference 2018: Registration is now open!

On February 13th, 2018, the 12th annual student-run Information Without Borders Conference (IWB) will be held in the McInnes Room at the Dalhousie Student Union Building. The Information Without Borders Conference is a one-day event that provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion between students, faculty, and professionals. This student-led initiative is run out of the School of Information Management at Dalhousie University.

The topic for the 2018 conference is: Information in Mass Media. The conference will explore the changing place of information in mass media across multiple disciplines, including libraries, journalism, social media, and entertainment. It will also provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary and inter-organizational discussion on this relevant topic for a variety of professional and student attendees.

Registration is open now at $25 for students and $105 for professionals & community members. Registration includes access to all events, breakfast, lunch and a gift bag.
