Dalhousie SIM Alumni Gathering in Ottawa

SIM graduates in Ottawa and area are invited to attend an alumni gathering with Dr. Bertrum MacDonald, longtime faculty member in the School of Information Management.

Both MLS/MLIS and MIM graduates are welcome to attend.

Western Ottawa LIS Alumni Reception

Date/Time: Thursday, November 8, 2018, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Play Food and Wine, 1 York Street

The Faculty of Information & Media Studies and Western Alumni invite LIS alumni and friends to a cocktail reception with special guest, Sonia Bebbington, Director General, Information and Document Resource Service, Library of Parliament.

We hope you can join us for appetizers and refreshments as we network with Ottawa area LIS alumni.

Prior to the cocktail reception, a private tour of the historic Library of Parliament will be offered for our alumni group. Take advantage of this opportunity before the library closes for 10 years due to the renovations at Parliament beginning later this year!
