Survey on Games in Public Libraries
May 31, 2017
Dear Colleagues,
I am a graduate student at McGill University in the School of Information Studies and I invite you to participate in my research project entitled Every Game its Player and Every Player their Game: A Survey of Games in Canadian Public Libraries by completing a national survey of public library workers from diverse Canadian public libraries on their gaming programs and collections. The survey builds on the work of Dr. Scott Nicholson, a librarian and Professor of Game Design and Development at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario.
This survey, which asks you to identify the gaming programs your library runs, as well as the game collections your library circulates, should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. To access, the survey use the following link:

If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at kayley.mcleod@mail.mcgill.ca or my supervisors: Professor Ilja Frissen at ilja.frissen@mcgill.ca, or Prof. Karyn Moffatt at karyn.moffatt@mcgill.ca.
Thank you,
