News Release: The Trojman Corporation to Develop and Distribute Products for Canadian Libraries
August 4, 2021
Toronto, Ontario — Salvy Trojman today announced the creation of a new company to distribute and develop products for the Canadian market. The Trojman Corporation has already secured an exclusive relationship with Coherent Digital to distribute its products in Canada, will be distributing the Sabinet Complete Collection and has a license from Gibson Publishing Connections to distribute the Canadian Electronic Library.
“This is just the beginning” said Salvy Trojman, “together with Coherent Digital we’ll be developing a new version of the Canadian Electronic Library based on Coherent’s Commons platform. We plan to work with Canadian independent publishers and librarians to add to what is already the definitive database for Canadian content. I’m honored to be building on Gary and Bob Gibson’s work.”
Trojman brings over thirty years of experience in the Canadian publishing industry, having worked as country manager for Gale Cengage, and senior roles at Reed Business information and Thomson-Reuters. He’s a regular attendee and presenter at conferences and is well known in the library community.
“Salvy is much more than a traditional distributor for Coherent” said Stephen Rhind-Tutt, President of Coherent Digital “he understands what Canadian researchers and librarians need. I look forward to working with him to develop our portfolio to answer those needs”.
The Trojman Corporation is a privately held Ontario corporation founded in July 2021 by Salvy Trojman.
