CanUX 2016 News: Tickets, dates and the first speakers are announced

April 6, 2016

The 2016 dates are set

If you missed our twitter announcements last month, the dates for this year’s CanUX are November 12-13, 2016. We’d love to see you again this fall at the largest and longest running annual Canadian experience design event. If you’d like to get involved as a sponsor, our 2016 CanUX Sponsorship Brochure is now available.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 15

Mark your calendars and set your alarms, because we’ll be releasing this year’s tickets in less than two weeks! Early bird tickets will be $249. Check out the CanUX site for more information about tickets.

The 2015 retrospectives are here

We’re also very happy with the quality of the feedback we received after our six straight sellout in 2015. Check out the 2015 statistical data and the 2015 CanUX photo gallery.

Alan Cooper and Peter Morville will headline the 2016 edition

We’re thrilled to announce that our first two speakers for 2016 are none other than interaction design legend Alan Cooper, founder of Cooper (San Francisco, CA), inventor of design personas, “father of Visual Basic” and author of “About Face” and “The Inmates are Running the Asylum”, and IA pioneer Peter Morville, president of Semantic Studios (Ann Arbor, MI), co-author of the “polar bear book”, “Search Patterns”, “Ambient Findability” and “Intertwingled”.

We’re also excited to welcome Meena Kithandaraman, co-founder of twig+fish in Boston. We would also like to welcome our first ever speakers from North Carolina, Rachel Daniel and Amanda Stockwell.

More surprises await…

But this is not all. We’re cooking a few more goodies for this year’s attendees, but we don’t want to spoil all the surprises. We hope to see you all on Nov 12 :)
