CFLA Intellectual Freedom Challenges Survey Reminder

The Canadian Federation of Library Associations (CFLA) Intellectual Freedom Committee is reminding members of the Canadian library community to report intellectual freedom challenges from 2021 for inclusion in its annual report.

Welcome back from the holidays. Two things have not gone away: the pandemic and the CFLA-FCAB Intellectual Freedom Challenges Survey. We have no advice on dealing with the pandemic, but the Intellectual Freedom Committee will be writing its annual report from the Survey toward the end of March, so if you have incidents from 2021 or earlier to enter, please try to get them in by mid-March. We hope to publish the report on the CFLA-FCAB website by the end of April. Perhaps by that time the pandemic situation will be clearer as well.

Bon retour des vacances. Deux choses n’ont pas disparu : la pandémie et l’enquête FCAB-CFLA sur les plaintes et remises en question. Nous n’avons malheureusement aucun conseil à vous offrir sur la façon de faire face à la pandémie, mais le Comité sur la liberté intellectuelle rédigera son rapport annuel de l’enquête vers la fin du mois de mars, donc si vous avez des incidents à communiquer ayant eu lieu en 2021 ou avant, veuillez essayer de nous les faire parvenir d’ici la mi-mars. Nous espérons publier le rapport sur le site Web de la FCAB-CFLA d’ici la fin avril.
Et peut-être qu’à ce moment-là, la situation pandémique sera également plus claire.
