Further to the Prime Minister’s announcement on June 25th, the Canadian Council of Archives (CCA) is pleased to confirm that an additional $3.3M has been made available to fund archives and library Young Canada Works (YCW) positions on our current waitlists for 2020-2021.

The Kimberley Foundation is inviting small libraries in Canada to apply for one-time grants of up to $1,000 to serve their communities during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Congratulations to the recipients of the grants to support acquisitions, programming, and outreach activities!

Part of these funds, $1.8 million, will be allocated through the BC Libraries Co-operative to support electronic resource licensing and help expand online common collections for all B.C. public libraries. The additional $1.2 million will be distributed directly to libraries.

Deadline to submit internship applications is March 1, 2020.
