New Exhibition at Library and Archives Canada “Icons of Knowledge: Architecture and Symbolism in National Libraries”

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is opening a new exhibition this month on the architecture of national libraries.

Library and Archives Canada cordially invites you to the opening of its new exhibition Icons of Knowledge: Architecture and Symbolism in National Libraries.

Drawing on historical materials collected from libraries and architects from around the world, this exhibition will explore the architecture of national libraries and their complex and fascinating relationship to a nation’s culture and history.
